Tam Nguyen, Student

Hi all! My name is Tam and I am one of the newest additions to Pastoral Council. I am a third year student at Muir College studying Biochemistry/Cell Biology and work part time at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography as a Student Assistant. In my free time I like to work on crossword puzzles, go swimming and take naps. I am a very visual person and enjoy the beauty in the art and design realm. I also love fried foods and breads. I am the youngest of four children and my parents are very active members of my childhood church, Holy Spirit Parish, located in East San Diego. Growing up in a Vietnamese community, it is quite a different experience to be part of something as diverse as the Newman Center. I am thrilled to be a part of this team and I hope I can represent the student community to my best ability. Cheers!
